Wallan U-Krew celebrates Youth Fest in style
Young people in Wallan marked Youth Fest 2025 with an afternoon of creativity, movement and connection at The Bridge Youth Service’s U-Krew program on September 18.
Supported by Mitchell Shire Council, the event featured a Random Shirt activity with Brad from Gnarly Neighbours and high-energy games with Bobbie from Reclink, keeping everyone active and engaged.
A shared footy food feast rounded out the afternoon, bringing the group together in celebration.
U-Krew facilitator Shannen said the event was a highlight for the cohort.
“It was great. The U-Krew gang were chilled, they were all engaged, Brad and Bobbie were fantastic. A great way to celebrate Youth Fest.”
The Bridge Youth Service CEO Melinda Lawley said the event reflected the organisation’s commitment to creating positive, youth-focused opportunities across its service areas.
“Youth Fest is about celebrating young people and giving them space to connect, create and thrive. Our Wallan event showed the power of simple, fun activities to bring people together and strengthen those connections.”
