Early Intervention Program
Are you aged 12-25 years and concerned or struggling with your Mental Health or Substance Misuse?
Early Intervention
The Early Intervention Program is a two-stream program supporting young people who are experiencing distress as a result of poor mental health or substance misuse issues. This program works to assist young people in addressing this distress and improving emotional regulation and impulse control through assertive outreach, comprehensive assessment and access to treatment through The Bridge’s on staff psychologist.
This program aims to address the gap where young people are not being supported due to access or complexity issues. To access this program, the young person must not be supported by another mental health or alcohol and drug service.
Referrals are required to be discussed with the Intake Co-Ordinator prior to submission. Contact can be made on (03) 5831 2390.
The program is only offered in Mitchell and Murrindindi shires, excluding Wallan and Wandong.
