Our Impact
This is what our Young People had to say about the support they received in 2022
“I was referred to ‘H’ for a while a bit over a year ago and now I see ‘A’ for regular appointments. Both have been supportive, easily the best workers I’ve had. I just wanted to pass on that the organisation is really helpful and I appreciate the hard work everyone does to support young people, Thank You “
“Thank you so much for all your help and support. I don’t know how I would have got through my pregnancy without group. You are amazing”
“Thank you for helping me out through hard times. Things have been quite better ever since. I appreciate it. Thank you for the chance to become a greater and better person. I enjoyed talking to you in person to solve out most things!”
“Thanks for everything. You’ve really had an impact on my life.”

James
James wanted to change how he felt about himself and his family.
James had thoughts of suicide, was involved in conflict at home and issues at school. His family were struggling to help him.
Our Youth Worker linked James to mental health services and helped him learn strategies to regulate his emotions and feelings.
James and his family engaged in mediation to help them understand adolescent development, their cultural differences and to open up communication.
James is now experiencing improved mental health, participating in family activities and able to communicate how he is feeling. School is now a positive environment and James is using exercise to help him regulate.
